don't think twice, it's alright..

i got The Princess Diaries on Blu-ray for Christmas. and i’m watching it for the first time in years, and i can still quote the whole thing, and i’m secure in that. UGH MY CHILDHOOD 

i turn into a five year old again when it gets this close to Christmas morning. i get in such a good mood. i wish i was like this all year round. 

Elf is basically the best movie since sliced bread. 

this christmas all of my dads side of the family came to town. we celebrated christmas eve last night, it was around 30+ people. my grandparents, my dad and us, and his siblings and all of their kids, including second cousins. we haven’t been all together in years. it was something i’ll never forget. seeing everyone together again brought tears to my eyes. there’s nothing like being surrounded by people who love you, this time of year. knowing that this was probably the last year for us to be all together before my grandparents aren’t with us anymore, being that they’re in their 80’s, is hard to think about, but i’m so thankful for the memories we made last night. i’m thankful that i know He came here as a baby and left the comfort of His home in heaven to save our lives. what an amazing promise He’s made. that anyone who comes to Him and gives their life to Christ, can know that when we die, it’s not the end. this christmas i’m thankful for the little things in life. laughter, family and knowing how loved i am. 

ok sooo…maybe people will think this is lame of me, but i really can’t wait to get past this whole Halloween thing ‘cause i really can’t wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas. seriously…
